Hi, posting this for a mate who isn't online.

He has a 1993 Defender 110, 2.5na. Ex MOD.  He is wanting to put a Discovery 300TDI in it - and it is kind of sitting in the Defender now - but it isn't sitting straight (as you look toward it). Mates up with the box ok (he is using the Defender box). He had been told it slots straight in but that seems to be wrong. 

Anyone got a guide as to how to get it in situ properly?  Although it looks like a case of modding the engine mounts, it looks like the oil filter and/or the exhaust won't fit anyway.

engine mount will need modded on the chassis and probably change dfor defender ones on the engine,
also you will need to buy the 300tdi exhaust, it will also revs its nuts off on the transfer box ratio, n/a diesel has a 1.6... box as opposed to a tdi defender transfer box is a 1.4 or disco at 1.2
on the 1.6 box it will go like stink upto about 55mph then scream its nuts (like mine)
