Speedo drive

OK guys after some major repair work and late nights and big thanks to my old man my landie is moted. I've had to fit a disco transfer box with the electronic Speedo.  Can you convert this to a Speedo cable ?.

Please help thanks bill

Is this with the transducer module in the side of the T box? It should unbolt and the cable drive slot in as far as I know.

Hi Bill, did this on my 90, the electronic part unbolts completely, you need the clamp from your old tx box and the spedo cable will fit in, you might need to very carefully grind a slight taper on the end of the spedo drive cable to help it slide into the drive spindle but it will work ok, depending on the gear thats fitted the spedo might be out a wee bit also depending on what wheels & tyres you have fitted but within a few mph.

OK guys fixed my speedo today. Firstly thanks to everyone that replied.  Turns out is quite easy pair of plumbers pliers give the chamber round the drive a twist and it comes out.
