« on: March 12, 2017, 03:28:48 PM »
Can both wiper motors be switched to the on position and then to 1 single switch so both come on at once
This is for a project I'm building just now

What exactly is needed when buying motors or can I buy a complete kit if so where
I.e. motor spindle does bushing come with it splines etc

Any info would be great cheers jim

Yes, it's a sensible thing to do as it's a lot easier going to one switch, which can also incorporate a flick wipe. Fiddling with the pull and twist switches on the separate motors is not easy if you're in moving traffic. I put both my wipers on a single switch on my legendary trialer "The Wee Beastie" many years ago on a column switch so I could activate the wipers without taking my hand off the wheel. It brought a new meaning to "2 speed wipers" as they went at slightly different rates, just another Land Rover anachronism!!
