I have a k plate defender with a 300tdi disco engine. Looking to see if anyone knows what exhaust I should/could use on?

Thanks

Hi
90 or 110?. I have a 110 running disco 300tdi straight fit onto a lt77 gearbox . It uses standard 300tdi downpipe, middle box replacement pipe cut down by 6inches and standard 300tdi back box. To use standard downpipe I modified the gearbox cross member. The 90 pretty much the same.

thanks for that, should of added it's a 90.

Was hopeful that a standard 300 down pipe would meet on to 200 center and back box but that would be far to simple.

Its worth doing to mod rather than paying too much for conversion downpipes , most them a smaller bore than the factory exhaust. Ok the 90 I done usuall deal 300 sits further back in engine bay. Get the normal 300tdi downpipe £20 of ebay. Now you have to cut a channel into the gearbox cross member to allow the downpipe to take its normal path. Weld the cut out shut then your ok MOT wise. Ditch the centre box, you don't need it for the mot either. Fit a replacement centre pipe £50 off ebay and cut down and reweld to meet up with the standard rear pipe and box. This way bar the cut down centre pipe in future its all standard 300tdi exaust parts. Few of the centre hangers will be out of place but easy to sort. You can also convert the 300tdi block to fit straight onto your  gear box useing the existing engine to gear box adapter plate. Cost me less than £100 for the system. Turbo spools up lovely with the centre box gone. Few days work and enjoy the superb 300tdi.
