I shouldn't think it would be too difficult, I've had mine out a couple of times. Once for painting and then replacing a seal.
Could you take a template from the glass and add the width of the centre seam of the seal, it is a tight fit anyway, use plenty of fairy liquid when putting the glass in.
You could also ask on here, maybe someone has a project and could measure the dimensions with the glass out?
