I'm about to do a long overdue winter mechanical refurb on the Landy - hubs, g/boxes etc. The wheels are rusty. Thought I'd take the tyres off to prepare and repaint the wheels properly. Should I just put the old tyres back on, half worn? They're Avon Rangemasters and are fine generally but seem to be less than effective on RTV's etc. What would be affordable, good on and off road, and look Ok? Thanks, Nigel
