I'm about to get my 1984 S3 back from George's yard in Larbert, where it's lain for several years (we'll have to evict the chickens).   Given its age and the fact that it will be a big boy's toy rather than a workhorse, any advice on whether I should insure it via a specialist broker or just use my usual insurance company?   If the former, any recommendations on who?

Cheers all,

Ron.

Or you could try Lancaster or Adrain Flux, both of who cater for limited mileage policies and classics.  Alan.

I renewed yesterday, Heritage were £73 cheaper than Lancaster, but it is whoever likes your circumstances best that will work best for you.
1994 Defender 90
2016 D4 Graphite

Try insure4x4.co.uk
This is a member on another forum im on and he has worked with the companies to get great deals for modified 4x4s on lower annual mileage second vehicles. Some of the members have saved hundreds compared to Adrian Flux. Its worth getting a quote

Thanks for the pointers, chaps.   Chickens will be evicted soon I hope.

Cheers,

Ron.
