Freelander TD4 abs pump ecu replacement

How easy it is to change the abs pump and ecu on a  2001 freelander td4? I'm  mechanically clueless and my neighbour is telling me it could be a bit of  a b*gger! Thanks in advance.

The ECU is a skoosh. It's inside the black plastic box at the rhs rear of he engine, near the battery. The ABS pump I'm unsure about.

I have an ECU from a 2003 Freelander TD4 if you need one.

Thanks Gordon.  I got 1 off feabay but it was never fitted as it looks like the fault was elsewhere.
