I have replaced the turbo assembly complete on my 2008 2.4 TDCI today, this was due to the very occasional lapse into "limp home mode". Simply switching off & back on again cleared the fault til the next time. This was diagnosed as being due to an intermittent fault in the waste gate actuator, the turbo itself is in good order with with no excess float in the turbo & no indication of passing oil. The vehicle has recorded 51000 miles in mostly light duties, I was unable to source an actuator as a separate item so replaced the complete assembly. I am open to offers on this unit & it can be inspected by arrangement.
