Discovery 1 tailgate handle

Hi - wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem to the one I've got just now with my D1. Last couple of times I've gone to open rear tailgate, the handle has stuck in position which has rendered door un-openable. I've managed to manipulate to eventually get the door open but it's a faff.  Note - the lock works perfectly.

I'm assuming lack of lubrication, wear or corrosion but before I dismantle, any pearls of wisdom?

Hi Alan

Pop the Centre badge out of the handle and you can get in to lubricate the levers

Got same problem sort of, person I bought it from said it was out of action but using it loosened it up and works like a champ now.
