Rear crossmember supplier

Looking to see who folk recommend to supply rear cross members.

Needing one with extensions for my 90. Trying to get something heavy duty and it's going to get thrash and no doubt stuck quite a few times, so don't want any crap.

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers
Kev

Haven't used them myself, but I've heard a lot of good reports regarding crossmembers made by this company

Have heard good things too about black sheep, although the extension come as cut plates and you have to weld them to create the extensions.

I got mine from gemm

Shall give them a call and see what they have to offer.

Thanks, keep them coming.

Do they do uprated heavy duty crossmembers or just standard replacements?

Mine came from mib offroad. Good bit of kit , do hd models , i went with a standard one though to keep weigt down , will still outlat rest of chassis im sure.

Just dont be in a rush, took a while....how ever its good tackle.

Thanks, have been trying to track down mib off-road, but appears they have shut down a few times and started again, think they are possibly chassis replacement parts now, I did ask them in a email but that was ignored and answered my other question.

I have just ordered a 6mm crossmember from Clive at Blacksheep. Cost the same as a crappy 2mm thick rust sandwich! Folded from a single piece of 6mm steel with all tubes for high lift etc welded in. All holes for towbar, grab handles etc. Will let you know how it looks when it arrives.
