« on: November 03, 2014, 06:34:02 PM »
hi all
I am looking for some pics of my series 2 when it was sitting on its roof at the third rtv section of mudmaster . I would just like them as  memento of the day and a reminder never ever to do it again  :o [put it on it's roof that is not mudmaster). if you have any could you email them to lornagillar@talktalk.net

many thanks shug...

You going back to the hard top now or did you have a hoop in it?

I've had mine on it's side 3 ti,es now - but never the roof.

It's unbelievable how quick you're there before you realise it's happening.  Glad you were both ok

I will keeping the canvas roof Duncan, I just love being able to take the top off in the summer . I made a full set of h/d hoops that are mounted all the way through the body onto the chassis, to replace small one's when I changed it to a soft top [so glad I did that] and they appear to have worked fine as we both got out without a scratch . which is more than can be said about landy  :o , but that can be fixed and plans are already forming in my head for some more improvements  ;D .

see you all next year shug...
