Wanted fuel tank
« on: May 06, 2014, 10:37:36 PM »
Ok bit of an unusual request but I need an old under the seat fuel tank for a series land rover, it can have holes in it be bashed up , leaks, I don't care as long as the filler top part is sound it will do the job,
It would be good if there was a cap with it .

Can collect most areas

Thanks

Greig

Hi Greg,
I think I've got an old military series tank kicking about, I'll double check and let you know. If memory serves it's complete with cap.

Cheers,
           Stevie.

I've just taken a tank off of my Series 3, it's an under seat number the top of its good, but the bottom seems are......... horrendous..... yeah I think thats as polite as it's possable to be about them! I'm in dunfermline if it's any use and it's free.

Sorry Greig,
I've searched for the tank but looks like it's already gone in the scrap, sorry.

hi greig, i just noticed this post,i have a flanged neck and cap that can be bolted or welded on,i also have a few neck units (part no ntc 2676) with filter ,inner cover and cap and plastic body panel.the flanged neck is free ,but the other parts are new and boxed, and they owe me £30.i am based in cumnock ,but my son travels thru the shires a bit.    davy
