Series V8
« on: March 23, 2014, 06:14:38 PM »
Hi,
Anyone managed to put a V8 in a series 2a and kept the grill position? I.E. Not moved the radiator forward making it look like a 110?
Cheers

Yes it can be done, need to shorten the water pump nose. Make sure your rad is in good nick though, worth a recore if its done a few miles.

Thanks.

I've just had my '41 Chevy radiator re-cored at Tayside Radiators (£250) and have had to fit a new thermostat etc as it was cool all the time, showed how blocked up the old one was! They made a really nice job of it.

I'll get the Land Rover one done as well - probably a bit cheeper since it's a smaller core and will save any issues later, hopefully.

Cheers
