« on: February 26, 2014, 07:23:06 PM »
Hi, i have been offered a landy but it has no papers(lost) or id due to a chassis change.
Am i able to somehow get this on the road or is it a case of steer well clear?

Unless u can get a V5 by means of owner finding it I would take it for parts only as it would have to go through a vossa vehicle check at one of there stations and would get a Q plate.
Without dateing evidence such as a chassis serial number or documents to show it's going to be a nightmare also what type if landrover are you talking about ?

In the words of Monty Python........run away!

I suppose it must be the first honestly declared ringer, usually they come under the banner of a "tax exempt series" or re chassied onto a range rover chassis when its clearly a recent defender that's been rung
