Hi Folks, due to other commitments I have with regret decided to break for parts my 1996 (P) Land Rover Defender 300 Tdi Galvanised Chassis Project.
All items are now sold pending collection.
It is in a rolling chassis at the moment and is the following,
2011 Defender TDCi chassis (new) with 300 tdi engine mounts fitted then it was sent to be galvanised which Im now breaking.
114K Defender 300 Tdi fitted. I had to take the head off for my Discovery at the time but comes with a brand new head and gasket set (both not fitted) but has 2 other 300 tdi heads complete with injectors etc. It has had a new timing belt kit fitted along with a new 100amp Alternator and tensioner fitted. It has also had a new rear crankshaft seal fitted when the gearbox was out. SOLD
R380 gearbox also brand new heavy duty clutch fitted. SOLD
TD5 axles front and rear.SOLD
New 2" lift kit fitted (Pro Comp shocks with Britpart heavy duty springs)SOLD
New steering damper.New style plastic fuel tank.New exhaust back box.
Bulk head is in very good condition with only 2 small rusty scabs.
Dash is complete
The body is in various bits (was like this when I bought it).
2 x original wings and 2 x Td5 wings.
The rear tub is not in great condtion but does have a good floor.
I have both doors,roof and windscreen.
I have 3 seats but not that great condition.
Wheels and tyres and not great and only on the chassis to move it.
I have loads of other bits and bobs such as props,lights, light surrounds etc.
This would make a great chassis replacement.
The chassis is located in Glenrothes, Fife.
