Yeh you've got to try them both ways. One of mine didn't work first time.

But, what a difference. Sorry I don't have a before photo but the old bulbs were crap.

Here is a before and after with these LEDs, just fitted mine today, well worth a quid each





This is the interior light with an LED panel, it is a lot better than this looks
