I don't really know what to call this, but I went for a brass horn brush/contact 

Its the metal prong that makes contact to the steering wheel slip ring for the horn, as can be seen in the photos I stole off google search below:




I managed to break mine when attempting fit an aftermarket steering wheel boss 

I cant see the part listed separately on the LR microcat, so was wondering if anyone was maybe breaking a car?

Its to fit a 300tdi, but don't know whether other model Disco 1 have the same horn arrangement
