***NOW SOLD**** Land Rover Series 2a Off Road prepared
Read the details below please
First off, this is not a car that is totally original and a show car.
Because of ill health this is a reluctant sale as I’ve owned this Land Rover for just under 20 years and had my fun with it.
I bought it as a very rotten van and it was recommissioned then, and over the years has been modified from a van into a pickup with roll cage for going off road. Like most off road motors, over the years its been fitted with bits and pieces from lots of stuff I’ve gathered, so it can’t claim to be totally standard or original.
It starts, stops and drives, but has been off the road since 2014, so will need some re-commissioning if its going to go for road use. Since then its been stored indoors, and I reckon it won’t take much to put on the road.
The chassis and bulkhead are solid so no rust worries there. It has Series 2a running gear. The nearside front wing is damaged but serviceable but there is a wing there to go with it. It needs a pair of door tops. It has bucket seats and harnesses, the fuel tank has been moved into the rear tub.
It has a cherished number from the original van that will stay with it, as I don’t particularly want to go through the hassle of retaining and I’ll not have a use for it.
The V5 is here with historic status and its now tax and MOT exempt (and surprisingly ULEZ compliant).
Its an ideal entry vehicle for someone starting out off roading
