Title: disco v8 non starter

Hi all am workin on a 1990 v8 disco for my mate I was driveing it along and it just cut out and won't start its gettin fuel and a spark a week one tho I've changed the coil and managed to start for couple mins but here's the weird bit only on drivers side bank of clyinders and now it won't even fire at all its a 3.5 efi one of early ones was running great b4 anybody got idears ?

Does the distributor have the externally mounted amplifier unit  they are prone to complete failure at the most embarassing moments  :-[.

Have a look underneath the airflow meter there should be a "silver" box mounted on the bracket. This is the balast back for the injectors and it very prone to bad connections.....
Have a look and if your not sure I've a spare one you can use for testing if required.
