Title: "best" bushes for a Discovery 1?
Post by: Pilot Custard on December 06, 2012, 03:38:40 PM
Discovery 1, tdi with winch..... does 20,000+ a year: 80% on-road, 20% off-road (but that 20% is pretty heavy)

What's the best bushes to put on the car: LR rubber; aftermarket rubber; Polybush; Superpro bushes?

I run a 127 Rapier with winch, now a camper conversion weighing about 3 and a quarter tons. Genuine Land Rover bushes lasted less than a year on the panhard rod and A frame. Have replaced with a full set of Super Pro's, original set now been on for about 3 years with only the panhards being replaced. I've found them to be very good and they last well.

Floflex get a good name. I would fit the standard stiffness compound for the type
