Title: oil leak

Hi folkes i have a 2003 defender hard top which i have just aquired but i have just noticed that there is some oil appearing on the outside of the rear wheel in the middle its coming from under the little rubber cap in middle of wheel nowhere else any ideas thanks les. :)

Probably a blocked breather and the oil is being forced out. easy to check on top of the axle little 8mm pipe .

that would be my first  thing to check.

Have a seat by the wheel fill your pipe sook several times conimplate for a while and tap the ash on the end cap.. AAh thats it sorted hehe.

Nice one al . i had a look at breather today and blew thro its clear and the bit at axle is clear too so i take it the hub seal needs done.

Hi drew i have a 101 forward control landrover plus the rapier trailer it towed when in service.
