Title: Steering wheel spline

Can anyone tell me if the fitting in the centre of a landrover defender td5 crewcab steering wheel that fits ove the spline can be replaced or is it a new sterring wheel?  If it ca be replaced is there anyone near West lothians that does this?  Cheers. John

It's the same spline as series IIA onwards, and anything British Leyland from the seventies fits as well. I've replaced the steering wheels in all of mine with alternatives, for instance a Morris Ital one in my 101 (but don't tell anyone ! )
