Title: Rear axle replacement for 110 defender

Hi Folks
I was asking about a replacement back plate for the drum Salisbury axle on my defender recently in the wanted section.

Someone suggested changing to discs  and mentioned possibly using D1 parts. So I am wondering if a complete axle with discs taken from a Discovery or even a TD5 defender would be a straight swap.
Rather than assemble all the various bits for a conversion type deal..

I would struggle to do the conversion but could probably manage an axle swap..

any ideas please

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265123900559?hash=item3dba9dac8f:g:rC8AAOSwqzdgdwJX      So you get vented front disk axle and a spare set of springs to sell on if you want. But you may need different prop.
A conversion kit from Zeus is £625. ( They won't sell many of them.)
