This is a Non-SLROC Event, but I realise it may be of Interest to many members...
Colin MacNee & Bob Webster are putting on a winch training event which will be held at Uphall, near Bathgate on Saturday 14th. September. It is part of the Scottish Association of Motor Sports Clubs' training programme for Cross Country marshals. Full details at https://forms.gle/1LBz6WXVkeMWUkqW6
This training is not aimed at everybody in the Group but is for anyone attending cross country events who may use their winches, whether for self-recovery, competition or supporting others and therefore you may find useful. It is not part of the training programme for licensed motorsport recovery operators. It is a formal course based on industry standard material but designed to explain good practice and safety in a cross country scenario. Attendance at this event is limited in numbers both for your comfort and to ensure a good experience.
