Hi, got my wife a range rover, but the g p s is needing updated. Trolled through web and been quoted £169.00 from Landrover. Is there any other options out there?

Hi Charlie.
               Yes I have the same problem with my car. You can get a voice activated Tom Tom for £100. I am too mean to pay even that, so it looks like we swim across to Fife and drive in the fields around the new M8 extension. ::)
To keep their customers happy you think a software update would be pennies but they obviously don't give a …. for their customers.

Cheers Pete, I have a NAVPAL in the 90, but it is far to big for the range rover. I am talking to Land Rover, but they cant find the system for the car, may have to take it up to them, looks like they need the car in  to do an upgrade.
