Title: WANTED - freelander front prop shaft
Post by: gary1968 on February 05, 2011, 05:38:39 PM
As the title, while changing the VCU on my propshaft today I (we) broke the universal joint yoke on the front prop shaft section..... f*** that thing is tight on the vcu spline.
So, I am in need of a front propshaft section, or indeed just the universal joint yoke, for a 1.8l, year 2000 freelender.

I have just had a brain storm, lol. I am now thinking that if the splines (universal joints) are the same on the front and rear section then I will buy a rear section and use the yoke from that....... with new bearings. I will be investigating the old vcu and propshafts in the morning......
Fingers crossed as I can get a rear section dirt cheap on the bay.....
