Hi all,

I am looking for used telegraph poles in good condition to use as fence strainers on my farm refurbishment, need a few. Bit of a long shot but not having much luck finding any at the moment. If anyone has any or knows of any for sale a heads up would be much appreciated!

If you look at the picture at the roadside where it says B825 you will see loads of telegraph poles. Im certain they belong to Loch House Farm that can also be seen in the pic. They hae been there for years so they may well sell you some. This is just outside Limerigg.

Dont know where in the country you are but there is a utility company in stepps, glasgow that puts up new poles. They have a huge stash of old one lying round the back. Could be worth a visit.
