looking for cb areirl for my landie gutter mount prefferd but would considder anything else or even info of a shop that sells them there used to be place in stirling but that closed few years back thanks dave call txt 07734055961

I have a couple of new mounts here I'm willing to sell. Will post a pic asap. There is a shop in glenrothes that sell c,b gear. Jaycee's. They are online too.

Go to Jaycee if you have lots of dosh, not the cheapest option, try Gumtree, you could probably get a CB and the antenna for the same price that Jaycee are asking.
If you have the time shop on line, 4x4CB have a good report on CB and mounts for landy's

Nope, but can supply coax and a 3/8 drill mount at extra cost if you need it.  (might have a gutter mount spare if I look hard enough).

Hmmm. I'll give dave a chance to reply. I have a drill mount and a gutter mount here but didn't want to use them. I have a d2 and didn't want to drill a hole in the roof. Gutter mount doesn't fit either but could be modified.

Have a spare mag mount that I could punt on as well

Feel the need to reply to coolcamper re Jaycee.  Not a big deal but please remember is a shop selling BNIB items.  Gumtree/EBay or anything else then you pay your money and take your chance.

The other "online" shops have postage charges which pushes the overall price up as as well.

jaycee does a gutter mount that fits a d2 i have 2 on mine, think they are made by diamond

Pearsons shop at the Barra's in Glasgow do full range of CB arials, might do mail order.

Understand your POV but I always buy BNIB stuff and most times from online stores. Never been dissapointed. On the Jaycee stuff, I ordered a cable from them for my 2M Yaesu which was 3 times the price of the Hong Kong article but needed it quickly. It took three phone calls and 6 weeks to get it even though my bank account was debited the same day I ordered. Oh and the cable was made in China
At the same time I ordered a cable for my Chinese HT (also sold by JAYCEE and WS) from Hong Kong, it arrived 3 weeks after order.
Based on this and it may very well be a one off, I think I can substantiate my feelings.
JAYCEE is part of Walter Stanton and any ham will tell you they are not known for competetive prices. Most of the main dealers in the UK are in what seems to be a pricing ring in my opinion.
Truck King and Knights are the same outfit and are very good in terms of quality and competetive pricing, bought quite a few bits over the years from them.
