Kenlowe Pre-heater
« on: December 02, 2011, 05:39:15 PM »
Hi

Just fitted a Kenlowe pre-heater to the 110. Hopefully no more scraping ice, as long as i set the timer ;D
If you get up early and need to wait for your 110 to defrost, you need one of these.
Only one down side, my 110 hasn't got a thermostat so the heater is fighting the radiator. I can get it up to 65 degrees. It cuts out at 85.
There is a built in switch that makes at 75 degrees, this is to switch on the interior fan. If i can't get to 75 i won't be able to use this option. I might put a battery charger in there to put 12v on the fan when the timer switches on.

I did toy with a fan heater on a timer. The 150lt LPG tank behind the seats put me off ;D
