how easy would it be to convert my series 3 2.25 petrol to a ford transit 2.5 deisel enine i have the doner van if i want it any ifo would be great

its a great conversion driveability wise but very noisy i had a 2.5 di in a series 3 for years
use standard landy rad with a pressure cap fitted viscous fan on the transit engine can be moved to line up with the rad by using the early water pump, standard series exhaust with the flange swapped over at the manifold, engine mounts need modded,
fuel lines etc altered slightly starter and alternator wiring extended, use landrover clutch cover and transit friction plate, needs a small brass bush made to shim up the input shaft, i think the adaptor plate for the engine came from milners if i remember
colin robertson (stagerecovery) is worth a shout he did the first one i new about
