rear diff pan needs replacing

hi all the rear diff pan on my 90 needs cut off and another welded in its place i ve bought one from paddocks does the diff need internal workings removed or can i just get some one to cut off old and replace with new thanks brido :)

I would definitely take the diff out - it doesn't take long on the rear.

yo need to strip the axil down and clean the inside out so there is no oil esidue left
once its empy stuff some damp rags down the axil tubes befor you start cutting the old pan off and welding
