Pam is usually pretty quick off the mark. If there are any problems we'll sort something out.

Cheers,

G

Hi there,

I'm a new member and have just sent off a cheque to Pam in the post to join SLROC - I'm planning to head across to Aberfoyle on Sunday for this (my first) GRR and looking forward to it.

A few weeks ago I bought my first Land Rover, a 2004 Discovery 2, and can't wait to take it off road.

Regards

Chris

All looking good for Sunday, including sorting out the weather - maps and instructions printed, route is being marked out and we're all good to go. We'll be using some of the same routes as feb 2012, but also have access to some new tracks.
Expecting to see a good turnout and a broad range of vehicles - if you haven't done a Green Road Run before why not come along and give it a shot, give your landy a treat and let it do what it was built for. Also, meet up with other members, drive through some of Scotland's best scenery, and perhaps enjoy a pleasant pub lunch at the Byre Inn or Brig o' Turk tearoom.
Hope to see you there, Alan

Not a problem. The "proper" route is all driveable by any landrover of any age on any any tyres. Even The "Red" sections, which are short loops off the "proper" route are a bit more lumpy and bumpy but again, nothing that a normal LR cannot cope with.

...except that one section.....  ;D

No need to worry- "red" sections are optional and avoidable if you don't like the look of them
