Title: Sheet steel supply

Anyone know where I might get sheet steel in or around glasgow to do some bulkhead repairs on my 2a. I've already used repair sections but could do with some sheet steel of a suitable gauge for some patches.

Try Barclay Mathieson at Shieldhall, you should be able to get their phone no. from yellow pages under steel stockholders

or try METAL SUPERMARKET in Govan they cut to size any metal or sheet.
google their name for address and number

As Bilko said, Metal Supermarket:
Unit 2 Moorpark Ind Estate, Broomloan Road, Govan, 0141-440-1300.

I've had various bits of metal, ally sheet, chequer plate, sheet steel etc., off them.

Very good for small orders.

try  your local blacksmiths or scrap yards they put good stuff to the side

heh, if you cant find a metal supplier in glasgow, what hope is there for us living in non-shipbuilding cities:P

Govan is in Glasgow Andrew, that's where the shipyards used to be and some still are. And that's the geography and history lesson for today folks.
