Windscreen Seal Help

Hello, would any one know who could fit a windscreen seal for me around the Perth area, Ive been to 2 windscreen places and 2 garages with them telling me to come back in 2 weeks or we will call you and the possibility of it breaking is fare good.. Really!!

I found this which explains it all, you just need someone to push gently.

One word of caution, cut the old seal out, do not try and remove the seal, I broke a windscreen doing that.

You just need string from B&Q and lots of fairy liquid

Yep agree with Dave T lots of washing up liquid string and a small screw driver. Done it twice now once to replace seal and second time to replace windscreen. Extra pair of hands comes in handy too.

from what i am told a defender screen is about the hardest to fit because they are flat with no flex in them.
my mate wanted a heated screen in his defender, when we went to autoglass to buy it they recommended fitting it for us, they broke two trying to fit it thankfully at their cost .
