Well, finally we've got the Green Goddess back on the road after her throwing a hissy fit with her clutch. 
 Now......ive got quite a soft spot for the old girl, and i stick up for her when Scott dearest is threatening to burn,torch and break her throughout the whole process !!!!!!!

She got her own back yesterday though......Firstly she locked us out with the keys, phone and dogs still inside at Abington!!!! Defenders are one of THE most stolen vehicles on the planet and we are in the middle of the carpark at the service station with a bit of ariel trying to prise the bloody door open, and not one person questioned us!!!!!!   We even got a couple of offers of help!!!! In the end we cut the seal on the small quarter window at the back door and took the window out to unlock the back door......guess what im doing at the weekend!!! 

Secondly, after another torch threat after that hiccup she threw a runny McFlurry all over Scott when we went round a roundabout, which admitedly i found rather funny!! And thirdly he knee-capped himself on the rather chunky recovery point on the front bumper!!! Im positive i saw her roll forward herbie style just as he walked round the front!! 

The moral of the story......NEVER upset your Landy!! Especially when its a lady... She WILL get own back in one way or another!!     Maan i love that truck

Just a bit!!!!.......not a moment went by when we were constantly reminded how much her engine & gearbox is worth...especially after discovering what she was sporting!!! Cant really blame her for getting her own back. 

Devious,calculating,ruthless,,, i would pamper her before she really takes umbridge,,,typical woman lol 

your not kidding about upsetting your landy in the last 2 weeks a have treated mine to a newer engine a new transfer box , full fluids change, new clutch and then what happened, bloody head gasket on replacement engine went ,  another ?90 in gaskets and all the oil and antifreeze lost another 50quid.

Ok ill eat humble pie. The landy done us proud this weekend. Out on logging duties she easily coped with a load of roughly 1.ton aswell as the trailer that weighs 750kg. She earned her new clutch so for that im proud of her. Now she has to trailer away the rest of the forest and there alot of wood and i do mean a hell of alot. Go on the green goddess.

Well, the Green Goddess has thrown a wobbler again!!........She failed her MOT   so i have removed all spanners, hammers and matches, and banned Scott coming within a 10 mile radius of the her until he stops swearing!!!!

Yippee    Back in Landrover land with Mot'd Green Goddess. Back to logging duties, and hauling my agility stuff to training 

Cant wait to get the real Goddess ( sorry g.g!! ) stripped down and rebuilt.

 
Glad she passed the retest. Thanks mel for taking her and big thanks to our in house welder. Think i owe him a few nice bottles of ale.
