Well, today has been a crap day. Not only did Honey have 2 seizures within the space of an hour, but the Goddess has a BROKEN CHASSIS...

GUTTED..!!!!!! 

The rear passenger spring hanger has gone through the chassis and split it. Not good. Went across the field to get her out of base camp (caravan!!) and get her ready for mot...... ! I dont think her altercation with a delivery van last year has done her any favours what so ever.

Once my house is finished, ( and if ive any money left!! ) she'll get put into drydock and she WILL return, but for the time being im landrover-less...

put the firefly in for a test and see what it needs

Thats a shame after all she has been through. Any chance that it is indeed related to the accident ? We had a Disco that got rear-ended and was "repaired" by the insurers approved body-shop - only to fail its MOT 6 weeks later because the rear body mounts were shot. After a bit of argy-bargy the Insurers finally accepted that it had probably happened in the accident and that their repairers should have noticed  ( ) - and coughed for the repairs to be done properly at a garage of OUR choosing.

Gene, i reckon when she got walloped, it may have put a hairline fracture or stress crack somewhere that hasnt been picked up.
Ive also done on odd tyro and been into forrest estate at New galloway, and going across the field has just been to much and its cracked big time. I think it opened up yesterday coming across from the caravan as ive been running about in her, and she's been fine.

Im really peed off and im going to miss driving her, but she'll emerge as a butterfly after her hibernation

Hopefully, IF, i get to a tyro or a driving day, someone will take pity on me, and take me for a run about in their Landy........
