Goddess update........Spoke to McLeods today and im ultra relieved that the main chassis is not damaged and its just the rear cross member that needs replaced, along with the various lights etc. Still looking at nearly 2K though-most of that labour fees!!
NFU are sending out an engineer to look at her near the end of the week, and hopefully i'll get a chance to talk to him. Have asked that they phone me, so heres hoping.
Suppose i'll have to put up with this 110 a little longer then...... ;D

As yet, im still waiting a decision. The NFU sent out an engineer last friday and im still waiting... >:( >:( >:( >:(. My patience is wearing a little thin now. How long does it flippin' well take, to decide if theyre putting a new cross member on or not.... ??? ???

Ive spoken to my local NFU office and the poor chap who i keep harassing, is being very helpfull, unlike the muppets in the Glasgow office, who i rapidly fell out with!!

I like the 110 i have the use of but...I WANT MY TRUCK BACK...... :'( :'( :'(

Hurray,haleluya...YIPPEE.......finally have an answer!!

The Goddess is coming home ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The engineer phoned me today, and im being offered a 'cash in leu' settlement, plus the truck back. She's NOT been written off,as i made it abundantly clear that i didnt want her written off,but the repair centre have said, its not viable for them to repair her, as the costs [most of which is their time, i might add],are borderline to the value. What they dont want to happen, is they strip her down, encounter problems and the insurance write her off, and we're left with a multitude of agro, which at the end of the day isnt my fault.

So im more than happy with that. All i need to do now, is order the parts, get her home which will be next week sometime hopefully, and get her sorted, ready to roam Fife roads once again...... ;D ;D ;D

Hi Mel,
Congratulations, great news.Hopefully this is a turn of good luck for you.
Looks like your starting a collection, when's the 300bhp v8 Bowler appearing? I don't think there's anything in the MSA blue book about having a canine navigator at a comp!
Hope your up and running soon.

 cheers,
           Stevie.

Great news. My cheque took a couple of weeks from the point where you are now. My only problem is that my local spray painter is so busy he cannot start on it till mid May, so its sitting stripped with the pile of new panels just waiting  :(
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

Thanks guys. :)
If it takes a couple of weeks, then ill just have to be a bit more patient...its been fairly stretched over the last wee while. But at least i know shes coming home.

I'll be phoning my local NFU agent on Monday, whos been assisting me on my mission, to see if we can get the whole thing tied up as quick as poss. They'd probably be more than happy to, just to get me off their case :) and once i get to pick up her ladyship up from the autocentre, they'll probably put the flags out!!! :D

Oh, and the 110 turned 1000 miles today... :o :o ;D
