Scrap thieves attempted to steal my blue 109 yesterday lunchtime to use her as a battering ram to break the gate down to the compound where she was parked,so they could get their pickup in to steal scrap. Couldnt get into her, but completely wrecked the drivers door in the process,by pulling at the doortop with a crowbar. >:( >:( >:(
Its a substantial gate, and if they had succeeded in using the 109, she probably would have bounced off it, and got trashed in the process.
They hotwired a dumper truck, and were in the process of trying to demolish the gate when the yard owner caught them.
Police have got their vehicle, but not them.....better get them before i do!! >:( >:( >:(

This vehicle now in Police custody wouldnt happen to have a Redtronic LED lightbar on or in it? I am really p@#sed off by the thieving scumbags that stole it off my 110,right outside my house while I was working on another Landrover barely 10 yards away!

Colin, I didnt see the pickup, but i'll ask the chap who owns the yard if he noticed. I think the vehicle was apprehended in Kirkcaldy. If i can get anymore info, i'll let you know.

Well, yesterday, one of my friends had her HORSE targeted for theft from her own property. >:( >:( >:( Hopefully now their plan has been scuppered, they wont be back, but its just unbelievable >:(

some folk will try and steal anything that isnt bolted down.....and if it is bolted down they come with crowbars to remove it.
bad enough stealing metal ie a car that means something to the owner but to try and steal flesh and blood like a horse is a new low >:( >:( >:(

Several horses have had plaits put in their manes in our area. Its supposidly so 'they' know which ones to nick. Thankfully the actual theft bit hasnt happened yet but sure makes you nervous. :'(
Justice system is not a deterrent... >:(

Yes, same with this one, apart from it was the tail with a thread of white cotton through it. Someone else in the area was also targeted, but they managed to get vehicle details..........................travellers seemingly.
And the compound where my blue 109 is stored has been targeted AGAIN..... >:( >:( >:( >:(............i hope it survives until i move!!

At our yard two nasty big dogs are left to roam at night and with cctv on access road so far had no trouble long may it continue

Fife also......for the next 6wks.....then me, 5 dogs, 2.5 Landies and a transit van are off to Galloway. ;D ( thankfully my horse is already there.)
