« on: July 01, 2011, 08:46:24 PM »
Hi there everyone,i was hoping u guys could help.
I am looking for my discovery 2 v8 to sound a bit more throaty, not like a fart in a can corsa, just more throaty.
I have seen these centre section replacement pipes for sale.
Would this help?
Many thanks jay.

Lose the rear box first, the centre box helps performance on road.

If you can save the cash, a quality sports exhaust is the best bet by a long way, especially with big bore manifolds for snarl factor ;D

most custon exhaust places can make you a custom system and make it sound exactly how you want it to for around ?200

where are you located? I've been using Stainless Creations in Falkirk for years and they really know their stuff. The welding on my last system is a work of art!

Look at janspeed, not cheap but you can still drive over 40 without being deaf. or replace the centre box with a cherry bomb silencer

I am in armadale mate,as i said, nothing to loud just make it sound like a v8 should, sounds a bit tame at the minute.

Hi Jay.

Ive used Stainless Creations in Falkirk in the past and in that area they do have a good reputation.
