he could have at least tried to make it realistic and got a k or l plate for it.

is it even legal if it was a series 2? new engine, possible new drivetrain, new body.... how many points is that up to now?

doesnt look that strange. 'f' would make it a ser2. ok got a ser3 grill and wings/headlights but that isnt so unusual. landrover had to move lights to the wings to meet lighting requirements. its still got split windscreen, no wheelarch eyebrows, safari double skin roof etc so could be genuine. engine upgrade not unusual, although adds points against tax free status.

always suspicious if he can call it a 90 though lol, doesnt now what hes selling

Gave the bot a phone see whats the deal looked major cheap eh.
Ok he bought it as a bare chassis apart from a bulkhead so i asumne thats the s2a part but that was a replacment chassis aswell.
The rest of the bodywork he bought himself and he done the tdi convertion minus the tdi radiator setup so running no intercooler but he does have it.
Said to me its been off the road for a good 5-8 years. And now he has just lost intrest in it. Had it up for sale for a long time originally at ?1650. Lots of lookers no takers. He also mentioned the last time it got driven the one of the rear wheels started to tighten up. I was tempted by this more for the full body at that price but i dont know now seeing its history is confused.

that makes my S2a look very modern  :o, and your asking questions about the validity of his  :'( ive fitted a 90 front pannel and grill so I could use the rad from the same 90 the 19J engine came from. Ive also fitted a S3 bulkhead as they are a way cheaper than a good S2. Next year I want to fit a new galvy chassis as this one is plated and repaired more than I would like BUT are you guys saying these mods will change the "historic Status" of the landy.

The replacement chassis is OK provided its a "new like for like". No impact on the VOSA points.

If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....
