Just noticed on telly  tonight , programme called For the Love of Cars - description - Philip Glenister and Ant Anstead set about finding a classic Land Rover Series 1 to bring back to life. They find one that's been neglected for 40 years, and their quest becomes a true labour of love.
Might be worth a look.

Watched last weeks one about mk1 escort Mexico, better than usual show of this type. Not so much about technical issues. But enough to be of interest, good background info, I expect to see plenty historic footage.
88" coil v8 trials motor
S111 Project
62 Willys Wagon (project)  shh keep this quiet!

Alan(s) - did I see an orange G4 disco and a Camel Trophy disco southbound on the M9 at Stirling at about 6:30 on Sunday evening? Thought you both might have been coming back from the GRR, which I unfortunately missed.

Either it was you guys or people are trying to pass off as you!

It's been too long since the last tyro - hopefully see a few people at Bathgate.

According to classic Land Rover magazine they paid £41,000 for it, anyone won the lottery, estimate had been between £14-£16,000, no doubt they will want to make a profit
If you wanted it yesterday why not wait and ask me for it tomorrow

I missed this episode and watched it online after the mini they did last night. Made a nice job I must say, only thing I would have done is kept its original colour it would have stood out more.
