300 to heaters

Recently bought a r reg 300 tdi discovery
Absolutely love it but one problem I'm having is that the heaters only blow cold air however the temp gauge never goes past half never overheated fan comes on and off normally
I'm looking for some pointers before I have a look at it over weekend ... Thanks

Hi,

Have you checked to see if the viscous fan has seized (if fitted)?

Thermostat stuck open?

 Thermostat previously removed? I have come across that before having been done to mask a an overheating problem.

Have found the issue
The heater matrix feed pipe had been loooed back into the return pipe . Looks like a new matrix is in order
