Hi I am a recently a new member and was wondering if the club had any ideas in a making a Facebook group. It's probably a question already asked but I personally think it would aid the club and forum in helping new members put faces to names and machines . :)

Its a good thought, a fair few of us are already on Facebook as individuals.

Being form the young end of the members I think its a great idea personally. The "Mud Monsters" form down south have one and it seems to be working well for them.

Of course, the downside to multiple social media outlets is they either dilute the focus, or require a heavy investment in maintaining a unified response across all outlets.

Events will still be posted via the web site, the news letter the medium for official communication, and the forum will remain the primary discussion place.

(oh, happy is the sandman with lots of castle to play in....)
