recently i have  purchased myself a new winch for my defender 90.  :D

but....i dont have a clue how to wire it up, and i cany seem to find any wiring diagrams on google which i can fully understand.  :-[ so does any1 here know where i can source a good, simple, easy to follow diagram, and/or have any tips for wen it comes to fitting/using it. :) things like, will i need to get another battery for example? :/

Jack, is the winch intended for self recovery or some other purpose,a Warrior C3500A  (3000 lb/1361 Kg pull)is only for a quad or similar.A suitable size of self recovery winch for a Defender has to be at least  8000 lbs/3500 Kg or more.

it is jst for playing about with tbh, it is more for aesthetic value.  but cheers for bringing that to my attention..i neva realised it was for quad, hopefully it'll be compatible . :/ ooops!  :-[

Photos are simple:

Register with somehing like photobucket ( www.photobucket.com)
Upload your photos to their site - so they are NOT on our server.
Copy the "img" file for your pic.
Paste into your post.
Done.

Flog the winch and look out for a proper 8000Lb or greater one - often seen in the "For Sale" on here - In fact I think Bill has one available now, complete with bumper.

you could double the pull with a snatch block just take it easy and dont burn it out   ;)
