« on: December 08, 2012, 11:21:17 AM »
hi,

i no this may sound abit of a silly question but....why does a steering wheel become squint, when wheels are straight?
if u know what im on about... :-\

and my next question is how do u straighten it again? can i simply jst remove the wheel and put it bak on straight? im abit of a novice wit this to be honest.

cheers

Get your tracking checked first and then dependant on what is done when tracking you remove steering wheel and recentre but most times it's centred when tracking is done . I'm guessing its something without a airbag I wouldn't attempt it in a truck with a airbag without following a workshop manual .

na it doesnt have an airbag, its jst the basic wheel.

cheers tho. ill look into gettin the tracking done, but to be fair it doesnt pull to any side when driving, stays straight when u let go of the wheel. :)
