problems with the clutch.

i have a 90 defender today the clutch pedal went to the floor with no gears.

Bled the clutch gears are back but, the pedal doesnt go all the way to the floor leaves about 2 inches and their is a high pitched squeal when pedal is pressed.

anybody got any ideas before i go taking it to bits??

hi pitched squeal is almost 100 percent your thrust bearing box out i'm afraid

Ok guys thrust bearing collapsed welding its self to fork then distorted the pressure plate maybe not in that order but new clutch required.

i would also make sure and put a heavy duty modified clutch fork on also they like to wear through !
