Post by: Dunc on January 19, 2013, 07:24:44 PM
:o I am desperately looking for advice and the automatic transmission fluid dipstick on my recently acquired 2001 Range Rover HSE with the BMW 2,5 diesel engine , I have had a decent look in the engine compartment and can't fathom where it has gone.. Any help would be gladly received..  Thanks    Duncan

No dipstick fitted, gearbox level is checked using the filler/level plug on the gearbox. You need underneath the car to check it, can't remember off hand if it's on the drivers side or the front of the gearbox.

cheers,
