as above i have made/copied something i saw on ebay but dont know the rules on mot,s?
can any body shed some light?

Dont see why not, i've had similar shocker droppers from paddocks for a few years and never had a problem at mot time,,

might be better if you welded them on, don't know for sure though

Hi,

Daughter's boyfriend is an MOT inspector.
He says as long as all the bolts are tight and the metal plate is 2 to 3mm thick he wouldn't have a problem passing it.

thanks for the replies plate is 8mm thick so hopefully should be ok.

i will find out next week as its almost finished.
