Im about to drop the v8 in but still needs a few bits, fuel pump carbs an manifold etc. Has anyone done this who can give me some pointers on a few things? Cheers

I've not done it personally but I'm struggling to find a decent ready built V8 Defender so ill likewise probably end up building one with parts from an old disco, so I'll be watching with interest, best of luck

Ive got the Disco here stripped  :)of its engine and box. A nice chap on here offered me a carb and manifold. Im needing conversion mounts for the engine, I can make mounts for the gbox myself. Anyone know where to find em? Cheers, Danny

There was a guy from Falkirk on here who i bought an overdrive off who had a v8 already coupled up to the series box he tried to get me to buy,  he might still have it.  Mark I think was his name iirc.

I was intending to use the 5 speed from the disco hence the need for custom mounts. Still need exhausts  fuel pump etc. So this guy could have some bits an bobs
